How you THINK when faced with obstacles dictates how resilient you can be.
“Do your thoughts help you cope with challenges or, do they make you feel vulnerable to stressors?”
“Do you overcome challenges by focusing on what you have control over, or what you don’t?”
Resilience is a skill that can be learnt, and the Paralympic sport of Goalball provides a thriving context for your team to learn the thinking skills associated with Resilience. Your team would be guided by our blind athletes (No kidding!) as they physically and emotionally cope with the challenges of playing a game without their sense of sight.
The learning doesn’t stop after the game ends. They will also learn to apply the same thinking skills associated with Resilience and the Growth Mindset to your organization’s context, and to Life.
Duration: 2 to 2.5hrs
Number of coaches: 3 with at least one who’s visually impaired
Maximum number of participants: 30
For: Corporate Companies, Uniformed Services, Teachers of Mainstream and Special Needs Schools, Sports Teams and Student Leaders.
